Effective date: July 16, 2026. Tempo is designed to work without an account, advertising or cross-app tracking.

What the app uses
- Location and speed: while a trip is active, Tempo uses phone location to estimate speed, distance, movement and automatic stops, including in the background.
- Destination: Apple Maps processes the start point and destination needed to calculate a route.
- Local preferences: language, units, theme, vehicle type and the optional broad age range are stored on the device.
- Local history: trip summaries and the detailed measurement remain on the device in this version.
What we do not collect
Tempo does not ask for an account, name, surname, registration plate, contacts or exact date of birth. We do not sell data, show targeted advertising or upload exact routes to our server.
Visible driving information
If you enable a Live Activity, trip information can appear on the Lock Screen, Dynamic Island, CarPlay, Apple Watch or other paired Apple surfaces. Anyone who can see those surfaces may see that information.
Control and deletion
You can stop a trip at any time and disable location access in system settings. Removing the app removes its local history and preferences. Apple processes map requests under Apple's own privacy terms.

Tempo działa bez konta, reklam i śledzenia między aplikacjami.
Podczas aktywnej podróży używa położenia telefonu, aby szacować prędkość, dystans, ruch i automatyczne postoje, także w tle. Apple Maps przetwarza punkt startu i cel potrzebne do wyznaczenia trasy.
Ustawienia, rodzaj pojazdu, opcjonalny szeroki przedział wieku oraz historia podróży pozostają na urządzeniu. Nie pytamy o imię, nazwisko, tablicę rejestracyjną, kontakty ani dokładną datę urodzenia. Nie sprzedajemy danych i nie wysyłamy dokładnych tras na nasz serwer.
Live Activity może pokazać informacje na zablokowanym ekranie, Dynamic Island, CarPlay i Apple Watch. Usunięcie aplikacji usuwa jej lokalną historię i ustawienia.

Tempo is an educational driving-time estimate. It is not navigation, a calibrated speedometer or tachograph, and it cannot confirm legal compliance. Always follow road signs and the rules for your vehicle.
