Your detailed trip stays on your phone.

Effective date: October 16, 2026. Tempo is designed to work without an account, advertising or cross-app tracking.

Data retention and deletion

No server retention: Tempo's developer does not receive or store location, speed, exact routes, trip history, preferences or age range on a Tempo server. The server-side retention period for those data is therefore zero.

On-device retention: local preferences and trip history remain in the app on the device until the user deletes them with an available in-app control, clears Tempo's storage in Android settings or removes the app. Removing Tempo deletes data stored in its app container. Device backups, map requests, purchases and store records are controlled separately by Apple, Google or the mapping provider under their terms.

Deletion request: Tempo has no user accounts and cannot remotely identify or delete data that stays only on a user's device. To delete local data, use the steps above. To request deletion of privacy or support correspondence previously sent to the developer, email klabocha@me.com from the same email address and write "Tempo data deletion request". The request will be handled within 30 days. Related correspondence will be deleted within 30 days after the request is completed, unless a longer period is required by law or necessary to establish or defend legal claims.

What the app uses

Location and speed: while a trip is active, Tempo uses phone location to estimate speed, distance, movement and automatic stops, including in the background.
Destination: the system mapping provider processes the start point and destination needed to calculate a route, such as Apple Maps on iOS or the compatible map service used by Android.
Local preferences: language, units, theme, vehicle type and the optional broad age range are stored on the device.
Local history: trip summaries and the detailed measurement remain on the device in this version.
Enforcement data pack: the database of measured sections and cameras is a static, signed resource. The app may fetch an updated pack from our static hosting at most once a day with a plain download request that carries no account, no identifier and no location - the same as loading a public file.
Tempo Pro: Apple or Google processes payments, depending on the store used. The app reads only the product and current entitlement needed to unlock Pro. Tempo does not receive payment card details.

What we do not collect

Tempo does not ask for an account, name, surname, registration plate, contacts or exact date of birth. We do not sell data, show targeted advertising or upload exact routes to our server.

Visible driving information

Trip information can appear on the Lock Screen, Dynamic Island, CarPlay, Apple Watch, Android foreground notification, Wear OS or another paired system surface. Anyone who can see those surfaces may see that information.

Data retention

Tempo's developer does not receive or retain location, speed, exact routes, trip history, preferences or age range on a Tempo server. Local preferences and trip history remain on the device until the user deletes them with an available in-app control, clears the app's storage in Android settings or removes Tempo. Privacy and support correspondence is retained only while needed to answer and resolve it, then deleted within 30 days, unless longer retention is required by law or needed for legal claims.

Data deletion and requests

You can stop a trip at any time and disable location access in system settings. Tempo has no account to delete. To remove local data, use an available deletion control, clear Tempo's Android storage or remove the app. Tempo cannot remotely access data that remains only on the device.

If you previously contacted the developer and want that correspondence deleted, email klabocha@me.com from the same address with the subject "Tempo data deletion request". The request will be completed within 30 days, subject only to applicable legal retention requirements.

Apple, Google or another system mapping provider processes map requests, purchases and related store records under its own privacy terms.

Podczas aktywnej podróży używa położenia telefonu, aby szacować prędkość, dystans, ruch i automatyczne postoje, także w tle. Systemowa usługa map przetwarza punkt startu i cel potrzebne do wyznaczenia trasy, na przykład Apple Maps w iOS albo zgodna usługa map w Androidzie.

Płatności Tempo Pro obsługuje Apple albo Google, zależnie od sklepu. Aplikacja odczytuje tylko produkt i aktualne uprawnienie potrzebne do odblokowania Pro. Tempo nie otrzymuje danych karty płatniczej.

Informacje o podróży mogą być widoczne na zablokowanym ekranie, Dynamic Island, CarPlay, Apple Watch, w stałym powiadomieniu Androida i na Wear OS.

Okres przechowywania danych

Deweloper Tempo nie otrzymuje ani nie przechowuje na serwerze Tempo danych o położeniu, prędkości, dokładnych trasach, historii podróży, ustawieniach ani przedziale wieku. Okres przechowywania tych danych na serwerze wynosi więc zero. Dane lokalne pozostają na urządzeniu do czasu usunięcia ich dostępną funkcją aplikacji, wyczyszczenia danych Tempo w ustawieniach Androida albo odinstalowania aplikacji.

Korespondencję dotyczącą prywatności lub pomocy przechowujemy tylko przez czas potrzebny do udzielenia odpowiedzi i rozwiązania sprawy, a następnie usuwamy ją w ciągu 30 dni, chyba że dłuższe przechowywanie jest wymagane przez prawo albo potrzebne do dochodzenia lub obrony roszczeń.

Usuwanie danych i żądania

Tempo funktioniert ohne Konto, Werbung oder appübergreifendes Tracking.

Während einer aktiven Fahrt verwendet die App den Standort des Telefons, um Geschwindigkeit, Strecke, Bewegung und automatische Stopps zu schätzen, auch im Hintergrund. Der Kartendienst des Systems verarbeitet Start und Ziel, zum Beispiel Apple Maps unter iOS oder ein kompatibler Kartendienst unter Android.

Einstellungen, Fahrzeugtyp, die freiwillige grobe Altersgruppe und der Fahrtverlauf bleiben auf dem Gerät. Wir erfassen weder Name, Kennzeichen, Kontakte noch genaues Geburtsdatum und laden keine genauen Routen auf unseren Server.

Zahlungen werden je nach Store von Apple oder Google verarbeitet. Tempo erhält keine Zahlungskartendaten.

Speicherdauer

Der Tempo-Entwickler erhält oder speichert Standort, Geschwindigkeit, genaue Routen, Fahrtverlauf, Einstellungen oder Altersgruppe nicht auf einem Tempo-Server. Die serverseitige Speicherdauer für diese Daten beträgt daher null. Lokale Daten bleiben auf dem Gerät, bis der Nutzer sie mit einer verfügbaren Funktion löscht, den Tempo-Speicher in den Android-Einstellungen löscht oder die App deinstalliert.

Datenschutz- und Supportnachrichten werden nur so lange gespeichert, wie dies zur Beantwortung und Lösung des Anliegens erforderlich ist. Danach werden sie innerhalb von 30 Tagen gelöscht, sofern keine längere gesetzliche Aufbewahrung oder Sicherung von Rechtsansprüchen erforderlich ist.

Löschung und Anfragen

Tempo erstellt keine Benutzerkonten. Lokale Daten können über eine verfügbare Löschfunktion, durch Löschen des Tempo-Speichers in den Android-Einstellungen oder durch Deinstallation der App gelöscht werden. Der Entwickler kann ausschließlich auf dem Gerät gespeicherte Daten nicht aus der Ferne lesen oder löschen.

Durante un viaje activo usa la ubicación del teléfono para estimar velocidad, distancia, movimiento y paradas automáticas, también en segundo plano. El servicio de mapas del sistema procesa el origen y el destino, por ejemplo Apple Maps en iOS o un servicio compatible en Android.

Los ajustes, el tipo de vehículo, la franja de edad opcional y el historial permanecen en el dispositivo. No pedimos nombre, matrícula, contactos ni fecha exacta de nacimiento, y no enviamos rutas exactas a nuestro servidor.

Apple o Google procesa los pagos según la tienda utilizada. Tempo no recibe datos de tarjetas.

Conservación de datos

El desarrollador de Tempo no recibe ni conserva en un servidor de Tempo la ubicación, velocidad, rutas exactas, historial de viajes, ajustes o franja de edad. Por tanto, el periodo de conservación en el servidor para esos datos es cero. Los datos locales permanecen en el dispositivo hasta que el usuario los elimina mediante una función disponible, borra el almacenamiento de Tempo en los ajustes de Android o desinstala la aplicación.

Los mensajes de privacidad y soporte se conservan solo durante el tiempo necesario para responder y resolver la solicitud. Después se eliminan en un plazo de 30 días, salvo que la ley exija conservarlos durante más tiempo o sean necesarios para reclamaciones legales.

Eliminación de datos y solicitudes

Tempo no crea cuentas de usuario. Para eliminar los datos locales, use una función de eliminación disponible, borre el almacenamiento de Tempo en los ajustes de Android o desinstale la aplicación. Pendant un trajet actif, l'app utilise la position du téléphone pour estimer la vitesse, la distance, les mouvements et les arrêts automatiques, y compris en arrière-plan. Le service de cartographie du système traite le départ et la destination, par exemple Apple Maps sur iOS ou un service compatible sur Android.

Les réglages, le type de véhicule, la tranche d'âge facultative et l'historique restent sur l'appareil. Nous ne demandons ni nom, plaque d'immatriculation, contacts, ni date de naissance exacte, et nous n'envoyons pas les itinéraires précis à notre serveur.

Durée de conservation

Le développeur de Tempo ne reçoit ni ne conserve sur un serveur Tempo la position, la vitesse, les itinéraires précis, l'historique des trajets, les réglages ou la tranche d'âge. La durée de conservation sur le serveur pour ces données est donc nulle. Les données locales restent sur l'appareil jusqu'à ce que l'utilisateur les supprime avec une fonction disponible, efface le stockage de Tempo dans les réglages Android ou désinstalle l'application.

Les messages relatifs à la confidentialité et à l'assistance sont conservés uniquement le temps nécessaire pour répondre et résoudre la demande. Ils sont ensuite supprimés dans un délai de 30 jours, sauf si une conservation plus longue est imposée par la loi ou nécessaire à des réclamations juridiques.

Suppression des données et demandes

Tempo ne crée pas de compte utilisateur. Optional measurement / Dobrowolny pomiar

Optional measurement from version 2.0.18

Only after you explicitly agree, Tempo sends a random identifier specific to this consent, platform and app version, the day of consent and the day of the first real average-speed section started after consent. It measures adoption and acquisition effectiveness. It does not measure your first-ever trip or every use. Refusing does not limit any function. No account, advertising ID, GPS position, route, destination, speed, section identity, contact, vehicle, age, purchase or payment information is sent by this feature.

On iOS, after consent, an Apple AdServices token is exchanged with Apple to check whether the installation was attributed to one of our Apple Ads campaigns. The token is not stored on our server. On Android, the official Google Play install referrer is read locally after consent; only a limited source/medium category is sent, never the raw referrer or click identifiers. This Android source is client-reported, not independently verified. Unknown means unknown and is not treated as organic. We do not track across apps or share these records with advertisers.

The legal basis is your optional consent. In Settings, use Turn off measurement and delete data to stop measurement immediately and erase the server record. Offline deletion is queued until a connection returns; pending deletion is shown in Settings. The app retains only the identifier and deletion credential needed for this retry. Reinstalling or clearing app data loses that credential; remaining server observations expire automatically. You can use Tempo fully without agreeing.

Observations are retained for up to 90 days from consent, with daily deletion. Following withdrawal, a non-reversible identifier hash and authentication hash are retained for up to 90 days to block late retries; they contain no usage event. Deleted records may remain in inaccessible disaster-recovery backups for up to 30 further days. Any restoration must reapply deletion records before access. Local consent credentials are excluded from device backups.

Cloudflare is the hosting processor. The D1 database is restricted to the EU jurisdiction; network requests transit Cloudflare infrastructure and may be processed globally. HTTPS necessarily exposes an IP address to the network provider; the application does not store it in the database or request logs. A transient hash is used for ingress abuse limits. Request/body logging is disabled. Only weekly aggregate counts by acquisition category reach the agency dashboard, without installation identifiers. Consent can be withdrawn as easily as it is given.
